Almost November

I cant believe its almost November! Where has the time gone? I have to come up with a sale for November! Love this time of year with candles and sewing. I feel like its a great time for hanging at home and burning candles and fires, and sewing i love sewing my projects. Love Love this time of year. I couldnt imagine not living in new england with the changing of seasons......

autumn is on its way!!!!

From the title of this entry i am so excited about autumn. We have just had the weirdest week weather wise. We had an earthquake on Tuesday, and hurricane Irene on Sunday. The earthquake originated from Virginia, but i was out sitting in my gazebo, and I felt it. It lasted about 30-45 seconds, which is pretty long. That was more fun than scary. On Sunday we introduced to Irene. Irene, thank god, was not as rude to Enfield,ct as she was to the rest of the east coast. So we are beginning the first week of September 2011. Lets see how interesting it will get. This month my wonderful husband is taking me and our children to Disney World, we cant wait. I have been trying to work on my sewing but have not been able to as much as I would like.

They go back to school next week, Whoa!!! No, Actually I am going to miss them.

So maybe this month Cross your fingers for me. Have a great night,week,day. :)

SummerTime

So we have had our one year anniversary, and things are still going well. We have added many new scents over the past few months, many have gotten great reviews. We just had an opportunity to be a part of a bridal shower witch is coming up at the end of July, very excited about that, I'll let you know how that turns out. The summer seems to be moving at a snails pace, some are happy with that,others (me!) not so much.lol. Looking forward to the fall scents in the air and the windows open, apple picking, apple pies. Ohhhh my favorite time of year....

Candles

I have recently started making and selling candles at home....
I love it. I have been wanting to do this all of my life and now i have finally started, now i just have to get the word out. My store is www.candlethreads.com. They are all soy candles with a primitive look to them. I have also been sewing dolls for a while now and those are also for sale on my website. Any marketing tips would be apreciated. I am new to all of this internet selling.
